There are two ways of spreading light:
to be the candle or
the mirror that reflects it!!!
Just a thought!!!
Enjoy my life lessons, my family, my deepest thoughts, my concerns, my mistakes and my love for Jesus Christ and mankind.

Treasures
EVERYWHERE YOU TRIP IS WHERE A TREASURE LIES!!!
Once you learn this simple statement and truly understand it, you will see that God is right there with you even when you fall. He has never let me down yet, and I don't expect him too. Gods love always prevails
I pray God showers you with blessings today

Camping Trip-Memories

I came across a few pics that were taken in 2005. The last day of school for the kids that year we took off up to Saluda for a camping trip. It was a blast. It seems to me it was so long ago. These were some of the best days of my life. The kids blessed me so much. They helped me walk closer to the Lord. I didn't do everything perfect, and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. But when I look back, I think maybe I made an impact in just one of there lives. They sure did impact my life.

Auction
What a shock to my body being out in the cold weather last night. It was down right nippy. We had our last fund raiser for the year and it actually turned out pretty good. We had a spaghetti supper and then an auction. I do not have the final tally yet, but I would say we raised close to $1200.00. Which was a great help. We are very close to meeting our goal. Here we come Orlando.....I can't wait.. I am very excited about being able to spend some quality time with some of the youth.
Who will give me $10.00, Now who will give me $11.00, could be heard from our Pastor. He done a great job. Maybe he has found his second calling.... We really did not have that much to auction off, but he has a gift of driving up the cost of what we did have. Hats off to your Pastor Hall.
I am totally exhausted and am ready to hit the sack. The youth really helped out tonight. Thanks to JaMichael, Adam R, Brandon H, Katelyn, Harley, & Jessie. These guys worked hard tonight and I was very impressed.
To Taylor, Lindsey, Tianna, Sara, Tara, Presley, Scottie & Zac- You guys are great too. I know you have already raised your money and it was pretty sweet for you guys to come out and support the others. James done a great job with the auction.... This is a really good fund raiser. Who would have thought....

Elfed!!!
At my place of employment we always donate toys for the "Toys for Tots" program. We have done this for the past 10 years. This year we decided to do something different. Instead of going out and purchasing the toys, we donated money. A total of $180.00. Each penny counted for 1 vote. We voted on whom we thought should be an elf for the day. The contestants were our upper management. The Director of Technology got the most votes. The idea was to vote for someone whom you would love to see in a ridiculous elf hat. The winner had to wear the hat all day, even when they left the office to eat lunch or meet with a customer or supplier.
Me being the sweet person I am, not to mention a team player- added to the excitement by dressing as an elf also. Didn't want John to look ridiculously stupid by himself. John (the elf) and I grew up together. His sister and I were best friends in high school. He is a very good friend of mine. It was nice sharing the day with him. We were stars(elves) for a day

Wouldn't you love to see us coming down the chimney with "Good Ole St. Nick"
New Arrival
Proud to say that I am an auntie again. We welcomed Harrison Bradey Cannon to the world today at 12:38 p.m.. He weighed 6 lbs and 13 ozs. 19 inches long!!! He was a few weeks early, but he is fine. His mommy had a few problems with her heath during the pregnancy. She had a problem with her blood pressure and her sugar during the pregnancy. They both were too high. Mommy and baby are doing just fine. His brother and sister have fell in love with him. I know they will be a great big help to mommy.
It is good to have a baby around.. We have not had one in a while.

Isn't he just beautiful!!! Welcome to the World- Harrison Bradey Cannon
